Stone Mountain Chorus is the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the Southeastern Harmony District of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The District supports barbershop chapters and quartets in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee and eastern Arkansas.

The Barbershop Harmony Society, legally and historically named the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, Inc. (SPEBSQSA), is the first of several organizations to promote and preserve barbershop music as an art form. Founded by Owen C. Cash in 1938, the organization quickly grew, promoting barbershop harmony among men of all ages.

Atlanta Harmony Celebration is an award-winning ladies a cappella group singing in the barbershop style. They are members of Harmony, Inc. Their directory, Kathy Stone, is a frequent coach for the Stone Mountain Chorus.

FOCUS understands and supports the unique needs of families with children who are medically fragile or have significant developmental or physical disabilities. FOCUS offers comfort, hope and information to parents; accessible recreational and social programs for children and teens; and fun, inclusive activities for the entire family. A nonprofit founded by parents in 1983, FOCUS continues to embrace and strengthen metro Atlanta families. The Stone Mountain Chorus provides regular support for FOCUS with a weekly collection at our rehearsals and a percentage for our show revenues.
